Sometimes I have an intense need to be barefoot
In the summer, I go everywhere barefoot. But even in the dead of winter, sometimes I just need to let my feet breathe, feel the wood floors, the leather on the couches, the softness of my dog’s fur as he curls up next to me. It makes me feel so alive.

I’m so relieved. I was literally shaking with joy. I could’ve done better, and I will, but it was a damn hard semester and I’m proud of myself for doing so well. I haven’t felt this good about myself in a long time.
